👣 The feet tell you a lot about what’s happening above them, at rest and during movement. ↪️ The posture (position) your feet are in is the result of what’s happening upstream. Your foot position is intimately related to how well you control the position of your pelvis and how well your hips are able to function as a result of this. ➡️ The stability, strength, and control of your hips and pelvic musculature determines whether you can maintain control of every joint beneath them, and therefore maintain the desired position of your joints at rest and during movement. 🔑 It comes down to having control over your joints, and attaining/maintaining the desired joint positions as you move. 👣 The feet can grant your body a huge amount of stability IF they are in a good position. If you can use your hips and pelvic control to get your feet where you want them, then they have a huge amount of intrinsic muscles that can work to your advantage. But the feet need to be in a desirable position (posture) in order to work optimally. 🔑 All of this can be worked on and changed. The body changes and adapts to what you expose it to. 🌳Ancrage🌳 Tourbillon de vie, stress, émotions, pensées, fatigue, etc. Dans nos quotidiens, tout vient régulièrement chambouler notre ancrage(*définition en fin de post). 🤯 . Comme on n’a pas toujours un arbre à portée de main pour nous aider à atterrir 😅🌴, c’est essentiel d’avoir dans notre boîte à outils quelques astuces express pour se ré-ancrer instantanément quelques soient les circonstances.🌱 . Parmi ceux qui fonctionnement pour moi, voici ceux qui sont les plus accessible à tout moment🕐 de la journée : . ✅ Respirer 🧘🏼‍♀️: prendre une lente et profonde inspiration/expiration ou que je sois, (yeux fermés encore mieux), plusieurs s’il le faut, jusqu’à sentir que quelque chose en moi ralentit et se dépose . . ✅ Penser à mon corps 🏄🏻‍♂️: poser mes pieds à plat au sol, décroiser les jambes, redresser mon dos, relâcher ma nuque, retrouver ma verticalité, réajuster ma posture pour être confortable, pour refaire circuler l’énergie de façon plus fluide. . ✅M’étirer 🤸🏿‍♂️: sur ma chaise, debout ou en faisant quelques pas, m’étirer en douceur me permet en quelques secondes de redescendre dans mon corps, de relâcher des tensions, de me mettre en mouvement, et de relancer la circulation énergétique. . ✅Donner l’intention 💭: j’accompagne ma respiration, mon étirement ou mon changement de posture avec l’intention de m’ancrer instantanément.🍃 . Tadam ! ✨C’est suffisant et à la portée de tout le monde 🤗 . ➡️ Et vous quels sont vos astuces pour vous ancrer ? . ❇️*Ancrage : c’est être ancré dans la terre et en soi, centrée, concentré, posé, relié terre/ciel d’un point de vue énergétique, lorsque l’énergie circule avec fluidité depuis la terre et le bas du corps jusqu’au delà du sommet de la tête. Le matin avec les enfants pour se concentrer⠀ ⠀ 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️ Comment la faire ? ⠀ 1. Commence debout avec les pieds légèrement écartés et le regard devant toi. Mets tout ton poids sur la jambe gauche en repoussant le sol. ⠀ ⠀ 2. Place ton pied droit au niveau de ta cheville gauche, tes orteils sont toujours au sol. Pense à bien ouvrir le genou droit vers l'extérieur. Joint tes mains au niveau de ta poitrine et redresse toi. ⠀ ⠀ 3. Monte tes mains juste au dessus de ta tête sans la toucher et étire tout ton dos. ⠀ Les mains jointes se placent juste au-dessus du sommet du crâne sans le toucher.⠀ ⠀ 4. Plie ta jambe droite et viens attraper ta cheville pour la placer en haut de ta cuisse gauche. Garde ton genou ouvert vers l'extérieur et appuie bien ton pied contre ta cuisse. ⠀ ⠀ 5. Monte tes bras tendus vers le ciel et joint tes mains loin au dessus de ta tête. ⠀ ⠀ 6. If you find it difficult to wake yourself up first thing on a morning or difficult to sleep on a night, have a go at this sequence. Allocate yourself a few minutes of your day to focus on you. Why is it important to stretch? It's important to keep your body moving and your joints mobile. Stretching keeps your muscles flexible, strong, and healthy. Flexibility helps to maintain a range of motion within all of your joints. Without it, your muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you start to move muscles that you haven't for a while, they are weak and unable to extend fully. You can do this sequence any time - before your workout or on your lunch break, especially if you've been sat at a desk for long periods of time. When to do them: - When you coach programs it 💁🏻‍♀️ - When you want to build strength > power/explosive speed 💪🏼 - When you wanna push your limits and grind that bitch 😎 . “Pause reps are the opposite of ballistic or plyometric training. Rather than seeking to take advantage of increased nervous innervation or an increased function of the elastic components of our muscles, pause reps force you to face your challenge with strength and strength alone.” . I choose pause reps when I don’t feel @ my best. This means when I am not feeling up to lifting some heavy as balls weights - I choose medium heavy and pause instead. . “Pausing at the bottom of the repetition allows the elastic energy to dissipate while simultaneously breaking your momentum. There is no stored energy to take advantage of, no kinetic energy to roll with. When you pause, all you’ve got is your muscles to produce the force you need. No tricks, no cheats, just pure strength.” . I regularly have 1s in my tempos for my clients eg 2111 . If you haven’t tried it - give it a crack! Less impact on my lower back and hips and knees by keeping your shoulders back "no hunching". When you Keep your shoulders and head aligned and focused forward, the torso will follow. Keeping my alignment and being mindful of this posture will allow maximum lung capacity. 🤗 #posture &breathing💨 is Key to successful running. @violatethedresscode : your pants are like butter to my skin.
